Smashbox Full Exposure Palette Review & Swatches

I'd been contemplating getting this palette for ages but never even realised that it wasn't available in Australia yet. So when I saw it in Kit Cosmetics in the "Just Arrived" section I figured that I may as well buy it. The palette itself cost me $69.95 which may seem a lot but it works out to be around $5 an eye shadow plus you get a double ended eye shadow brush included, so overall its not that expensive. However in America this palette retails for $49, a full $20 cheaper then here in Australia, making the eye shadows $3.50 each, the price difference makes me angry but I don't even want to get into that.

Onto the palette,  you get 14 shadows, 7 are matte and 7 are shimmers. Each matte colour has a corresponding shimmery colour which I personally think its great, having a matte and a shimmer of the same colour is perfect for people beginning out in the world of makeup.

All of the colours are super wearable and super neutral. You've got warm browns and cool toned browns, shimmery champaign colours and matte nudes, you also get a matte navy/black colour
which is perfect for liner or for defining the crease.

This palette will be fantastic for travelling, you literally get every neutral colour you would ever need, and every dark colour that you would need to create the perfect smoky night time look. Another fantastic thing is that the brush that comes with the palette is actually usable. For once you get a fluffy blending brush instead of a stiff flat shader brush like the ones you get in the Naked Palettes. Although you do get one of those on the other end of the brush that it comes with.
